FAQ
Common Questions
How long do I have to file a car accident claim in Georgia?
Georgia's statute of limitations for personal injury is generally two years from the date of the crash (O.C.G.A. 9-3-33), and claims involving government vehicles can require notice much sooner. Evidence disappears quickly, so call us for a free review.
What does it cost to hire your firm?
Nothing upfront. We handle car accident cases on a contingency fee. We only get paid if we recover money for you. Clients may still be responsible for court costs and case expenses.
The insurance company already offered me money. Should I accept?
Not before you talk to a lawyer. First offers are almost always low and are often made before you know the full extent of your injuries. Once you sign a release, the case is over.
What if the at-fault driver was uninsured?
Your own uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage may pay. In Georgia this coverage can often stack on top of the other driver's policy.
